A day in the life of an anesthesiologist is very difficult. On a daily basis they record the type and amount of anesthesia as well monitor and examine the patient before, after, and during the procedure. Not only is this job difficult, it has a lot of schooling with a minimum of 12 years! But I guess its worth it in the end to make an upwards of $450k.
Surgeon
$220k-$400k
If your looking to treat injuries, diseases and preform operations a surgeon is the perfect job for you. On a normal day surgeons visit patients to diagnose illnesses and discuss surgical options. With working 50–60 hours a week surgeons make a minimum of $220k. But with the need of a bachelors degree and 3–7 years of an internship this job has an abundance of schooling.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
$200k-$400k
Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons are trained to detect a wide range of diseases, defects, and injuries to the neck, head, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial area. To go into this job you need to have 2–4 years of undergrad study, 4 years of dental study and 4–6 years of residency study. But in the end its all worth it when you make up to $400k a year.
